On the Feast of Pentecost, St. Alphonsa Syro-Malabar Church prayerfully celebrates എഴുത്തിനിരുത്ത് (Vidyarambham). Rev. Fr. James Nirappel leads the ceremony as children begin their first steps into the world of knowledge and wisdom by tracing letters in rice.

The parish also joyfully welcomes and blesses the new batch of altar servers during the Holy Qurbana. We congratulate the children who begin their ministry at the altar and pray that they may grow in faith, discipline, and service to the Church.

It is with profound sorrow that we inform you of the passing of Mr. Sibichan Varghese (54).

Please keep him and his grieving family in your prayers, and pray for the repose of his soul.

A Memorial Qurbana and Oppees for Mr. Sibichan Varghese will be held today, Friday, May 15, at 7:30 PM in our church.

On Mother’s Day, the parish recognized all mothers after the Holy Qurbana. Each mother was invited to the altar and received a rose from Rev. Fr. Vicar.
A special prayer and blessing were offered for all mothers.

During the Parish General Body meeting, former (2024–2025 ) trustees Mr. Shaji Mattappally and Mr. Jojo Jose receive mementos from Vicar Rev. Fr. James Nirappel in recognition of their dedicated service. The parish extends its sincere gratitude for their faithful stewardship and contributions to the community.
