Dear Parish Community,

The Women’s ACTS Retreat is fast approaching, and we ask for your prayers for both the ACTS team and the retreatants joining our community.

The first send-off activity, the Passing of the Candle ceremony, will take place on Wednesday, February 25, 2026. We encourage the entire community to come together as one body in Christ for this very special evening in which we will raise our Sisters up to our Lord most high as they receive the candle and blessing from the previous ACTS Directors Retreat Team.

We will gather as a community in the Garden of St. Ferdinand Church at 6:25 PM to prepare and practice songs, including the theme song, “Woman at the Well.” Please wear your blue ACTS shirt or something blue to if you don’t have one. We want our sisters to feel our love and support as we come together as a community forming “one body in Christ our Lord.”

We thank you for you participation and look forward to seeing you.

We would like to invite our parishioners to join us for a Turnaround Day Trip to the Chumash Casino on Saturday, February 21st.
Tickets are $60 each, and included with your ticket, the casino will give you $40 to play. In addition, there is a shuttle available outside the casino to Solvang for a small fee, where you can enjoy some time shopping, dining, and exploring the beautiful town. Proceeds will benefit the upcoming women’s ACTS retreat.
Tickets will be available for purchase outside of Mass, and we’ll be happy to answer any questions you may have.
