“Faith Alone Saves, But Faith That Saves Is Never Alone”. Are You Saved?
𝗙𝗮𝗹𝘀𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝘃𝘀 𝗧𝗿𝘂𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘁𝘀
Many people today believe they are saved—but are not.
This is not a small issue. This is eternal.
Jesus Himself gives a sobering warning in Matthew 7:21–23 — that many will stand before Him, confident in their profession, their works, even their ministry… and yet hear the words, “I never knew you.”
Not “I knew you once.”
Not “You lost your salvation.”
But “I never knew you.”
That means it is possible to claim Christ… and still be lost.
False conversion is dangerously deceptive.
It can look real on the outside—saying the right words, attending church, raising a hand, praying a prayer—but there is no true repentance, no new heart, no transformation. It is a faith that remains unchanged by the holiness of God.
Scripture is clear: a faith that does not produce fruit is not saving faith. James 2:17 says that faith without works is dead—not because works save us, but because true faith always produces evidence.
True conversion is not perfection—but it is transformation.
When God saves a person, He doesn’t just improve behavior—He changes the heart. 2 Corinthians 5:17 declares that anyone in Christ is a new creation. New desires. New direction. A growing love for righteousness and a hatred for sin.
This is why Scripture commands us in 2 Corinthians 13:5 — to examine ourselves.
Not to create fear—but to expose false assurance.
Ask yourself:
Do I truly love Christ—or just the idea of Him?
Do I hate my sin—or excuse it?
Is my life being transformed—or am I the same as before?
Salvation is not found in a moment you repeated words.
It is found in a Savior who changes lives.
The call of the gospel is not just “believe”—it is repent and believe. Luke 13:3
Turn from sin.
Trust in Christ alone.
Follow Him.
Because false assurance will comfort you all the way to judgment…
but true conversion will lead you to eternal life.
