🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼❤️Dearest Angelitoz, I cone to you with urgent requests for prayers:
Alvaro is a stage 4 cancer warrior who is coming to the end of his battle. He has been intubated and placed in an induced coma. We pray for a peaceful transition for him and consolation for his family as they sit with him awaiting God’s will.
I also ask you to lift 10 year old Lily who is a recently diagnosed non-Hodgkins lymphoma warrior. May God’s mercy heal His precious little girl and grant her family peace as they walk this journey with her❤️🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼. I thank you for your love and concern!!🙏🏼💐

Hello ASR Family,

Just a reminder that our next prayer meeting and Christmas Celebration will be Saturday December 14th at 9:00 am here at 1169 Camino Del Sur San Dimas. As always, we will begin with the rosary, and Freda will be sharing a talk on God’s Peace.

Following our prayer meeting we will celebrate Christmas with a pot luck early lunch. So please bring your favorite dish to share. Additionally, we will have the white elephant gift exchange. So, if you wish to participate bring a gift valued at around $20.00.

Prayer for our Country.

I posted this about a year and a half ago but it seems just the prayer we need this week...

Lord,
the whole world stands in such great need of healing:
nations take up arms against their neighbors,
my country's split in half by the elections results
and by partisan hostilities,
my church is torn by discord, scandal and mistrust
and here, close to home,
my own heart begs your healing touch
for my family, for my friends and for myself...

We're broken and fearful, wounded and guilty,
sick and haunted by sorrow, pain and loss:
we're all in need of your healing, Lord...

Your love runs deep and your mercy is endless
- but how or why or when you'll heal us
is something we can't measure:
it's a mystery, a gift for which we pray,
a blessing we hope will touch our lives...

Help us patiently trust
that your healing's at work,
that your Spirit is mending us, body and soul,
that the peace we pray is the gift you offer
and the gift you offer, the peace that heals...

We need your healing, one and all,
in every corner around the world
in every place, Lord, in every heart
we need your holy, healing touch...
Protect us, Lord, while we're still awake
and watch over us while we sleep
that awake, we might keep watch with you
and asleep, rest in your peace...

Amen.

Prayer for our Country.

Dear Father,
Living in uncertain times, You are a certain God.
Seeing turmoil all around us, You are the Peace within us.
And though the future may seem dim, You are the Light that illuminates our path forward.
Make us one nation under God.
May we remember the high cost that was paid to live in one nation, a nation under God.
May we not be fractured by politics or pettiness, but stand together as an indivisible people, ready to face the challenges of our future.
May we graciously live within the freedom and liberty endowed to us by our Creator. And may we seek justice for all, no matter their race, color, or creed.
Make us one nation under God.
Though imperfect, let us become a more perfect union. Sometimes divided, let us learn to live indivisibly. And at times ungrateful, let we the people be grateful for life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
In you, God, we trust to heal the wounds of our past. Give us strength to endure the trials of today, and provide guidance to live together in a more peaceful tomorrow.
Make us one nation under God.
May your Word direct us, Your promises keep us, Your power protect us, and Your purpose restore us.
May our courage propel us, love define us, humility constrain us, and faith unite us.
