Anticipating the upcoming release of Emet L’Yaakov: Netivot Ḥokhma — the newest bilingual volume in Morenu HaRav Rabbi Yaakov Peretz’s Emet L’Yaakov series published by Rabbi Yonatan Halevy under the Shiviti imprint — we are pleased to share these newly recorded classes.

Netivot Ḥokhma explores the obligations of Torah study, the conditions necessary for its acquisition, and the inner dispositions required of one who seeks to walk the pathways of wisdom. Drawing from the breadth of rabbinic literature across the generations, Morenu HaRav zt”l presents Torah study as both an intellectual pursuit and a spiritual discipline.

Join Rabbi Yonatan Halevy at the Shiviti Bet Midrash in Kehillat Shaar HaShamayim as he introduces Morenu HaRav zt”l’s foundational work on Torah study:

I am honored to share my latest article, “Integral: Faith, Community, and the 2026 National Drug Control Strategy,”published following my recent invitation to represent the Jewish nation at the 2026 National Drug Strategy Summit, hosted by the Office of National Drug Control Policy in Washington, D.C.

The article considers the role of faith and community in addressing the addiction crisis across prevention, treatment, and recovery, drawing on the classical tradition and contemporary empirical research. It examines how partnership between federal institutions and faith communities can be developed with rigor, integrity, and lasting effect.

I am deeply grateful to the agencies, researchers, clinicians, educators, law enforcement officers, faith leaders, and advocates whose dedication sustains this work. It is a privilege to contribute to a conversation of such consequence.
