"Like Enoch, many of our youth today are choosing to abide with Jesus Christ. They are choosing to keep Him in their lives. They are walking with Him. They are gathering in record numbers to temples throughout the world. They wake before sunrise to participate in seminary. More are serving missions, resulting in more of God’s children being baptized than ever before. Today’s rising generation has been gifted with talents to gather and attributes of empathy and understanding. More are committed to becoming lifelong disciples of Jesus Christ."
Brother David J. Wunderli - General Conference April 2026

Our youth have an opportunity to participate in FSY each summer. At FSY, they will have the chance to meet new friends, grow their testimony, and come closer to Jesus Christ. Reach out to your local ward leaders for more information on FSY.

Recently, as part of our global efforts to share the glad tidings of the gospel of Jesus Christ and increase awareness and understanding of the Church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints published a new video, “What It’s Like Inside the Missionary Training Center”.
As President Nelson said in 2024, "My dear brothers and sisters, do you see what is happening right before our eyes? I pray that we will not miss the majesty of this moment! The Lord is indeed hastening His work.”

Have you ever wondered what family history and temples have in common?

In the Bible, the Lord promised that Elijah would come to “turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers” (Malachi 4:5-6). We believe Elijah did come and restored priesthood keys that make it possible to bind families eternally.

You may wonder how does this connect to the Temple? When we do family history work, most of it is done inside the temple. Members go to the temple to perform ordinances for those who died without the opportunity. So, when we do family history, we’re not just building a tree – we’re finding, honoring, and helping family members grow closer to our Heavenly Father. That’s why family history and the temple go together. It’s all part of God’s work to unite families for eternity!

Please drop by the Yorba Linda California temple open house between now and May 23 (excluding Sundays) to see the beauty that abounds inside and out of this temple and learn more about how you can have your family live with you for all of eternity. (If you come between 12-5 pm on a weekday, you do not need a reservation.)

Check out these photos of those actual rooms in the Yorba Linda California Temple! They include the Recommend Desk (where patrons check in), the Baptistry (where members are baptized on behalf of deceased ancestors), the Instruction/Endowment Room (quiet places to learn about God's plan), the Sealing Room (where families can be united forever), and the peaceful Celestial Room--a bright, reverent room that feels like a reminder of God's love and the hope of returning to Him.

All of the pictures are shown below (in order). But you can see all of these rooms in person now through May 23 (excluding Sundays) by visiting the Yorba Linda California temple for a free tour.

To secure free reservations (highly recommended because parking is limited) to the Open House, please visit: www.yorbalindacaliforniatemple.org
