Day 1, Friday, of our amazing Women’s Retreat October 2019!! The ladies arrived to Pinevalley Christian Conference Center and Kim O’hara created a wonderful dinner for us of salad and grilled shrimp. We were encouraged by a message from speaker Cathy Davis. Worship was excellent led by the talented Melissa New and Heather Slater.

Wow! What a wonderful time at Mission Church! The message given by Attorney Lauren Jimenez pointed to the integral importance of community to our faith in Jesus Christ. We become a part of a body of Believers through perseverance in creating deep relationships with real connection. Amen and amen!!
The food was a delight by Kim O’hara. The decorations were gorgeous by Kim Reynolds Foster, Kim Stroud, Elizabeth Bergherm. Music by Kelly Miller. The men helped by serving, cooking and cleaning. The teens helped and earned tips for youth group activities coming up.
Congratulations to the leaders who put it all together — Hydie Miller and Diane Cremo!!

Persistent focused prayer in agreement with other Believers really produces HOPE that strengthens and energizes even in difficulty circumstances! Come to this 35th Anniversary event in Carlsbad, CA, October 11-12! I’m going!
