From Death to Life

Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Those who believe in me, even though they die, will live, and everyone who lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?” - John 11:25-26

Easter is more than a feel-good holiday that we acknowledge once once a year. It is more than bouquets of lilies, Easter egg hunts, and family dinners.

This is the day that we celebrate the moment Jesus changed human history. Three days after being crucified, Jesus conquered death and sin and rose from the grave.
Everything we believe as Christians is hinged on this reality - the reality of the resurrection.

The question is - do we really believe this?
If we do, we are invited to participate in the resurrection life that Jesus offers us.

Join us Easter weekend as we remember and celebrate the God who brings us from death to life.

American Red Cross volunteers will Sound the Alarm in at-risk communities by educating 100,000 people nationwide about home fire safety, helping families create an escape plan to practice their 2-minute drill, and partnering with fire departments to install smoke alarms. People can sign up via the website (www.SoundTheAlarm.org/SoCal) or by calling 619-354-9609. A trained volunteer will call each household that signs up to take them through their personalized home fire safety consultation. After the consultation is completed, residents qualify for a free smoke alarm installation (once it’s safe to do so).
