C-MENT Auditions Open | Grades 1-6

C-MENT (Christian Musical Enrichment Theater) at PLC is excited to start the fall season for their upcoming show: "A Play in a Manger."

All 1st–6th graders are invited to audition on Saturday, September 24 or Tuesday, September 27. All kids who audition will get a part in the show!

GRATITUDE and THANKS! These two amazing women - Adele Granmo Buffington and Betty Arnold King - have shaped the lives of so many children and blessed families beyond words. We are immensely grateful for Betty's 27 years with C-MENT - sharing her talent, faith and passion! We wish her great JOY in her C-MENT retirement. And, Miss Adele, our rock and guiding light! As she celebrates 20 years of loving service to Peñasquitos Lutheran Church, we are thankful for her vision, leadership and laughter! Music Director of C-MENT is only ONE of her many hats @ PLC and we know she will continue to shine bright in the lives of so many and for that we are eternally grateful!

Presented by children from PLC and the community, this musical centers on a police caper in the formerly peaceful town of Bethlehem. Sergeants Joe Sabbath and Jessica Sunday lead an investigation of an alleged gang of rowdy shepherds who are disturbing the peace with a crazy story about angels and a mysterious baby!

It’s a police caper investigating an alleged gang of rowdy shepherds who are disturbing the peace with a crazy story about angels 👼 and a mysterious baby! There are lots of roles and the music is great! :) Everyone who auditions is in the show. 👍
