Over the past month I have been working with leadership to change our divisional name. We have been the Southern Division of the Southern California District of Royal Rangers, and while working on a flag design for Camporama, I felt that we needed a change. After prayer and consideration, I shared my feelings with the staff and took there feedback. During the level one backpack I recruited a group of 10 Expedition Rangers, including 3 Gold Medalist. and discussed it with them. The final step happened last Monday night at the SAC meeting, where we voted on the change. And I am proud to announce that we are now the Baja Division of SoCal Royal Rangers.

Welcome to the Baja Division.

We are part of the SoCal Network of Royal Rangers (District Website) which is California south of Fresno. Our division includes San Diego and Imperial Counties.

The Baja name was chosen to represent our region and invoke a sense of fun and adventure. I know that not every one will like it, but I hope it will you will keep an open mind and let it grow on you.
