1 Peter 2:24 He himself bore our sins in his body on the cross so that we might die to sin and live to righteousness; by his wounds, you have been healed.

The reason why Good Friday is called Good Friday is not entirely clear. One common explanation is that the word good originally meant Holy. So Good Friday is synonymous with Holy Friday. For Christian, it is a good thing that Christ died for us. This is not a rejection of the sadness and trsgedy of death, but rather a real understanding of the goodness that came out of a very tragic day in history. It gave us peace with God and made us one with God.

Psalm 42:6-7 I am the Lord, I have called you in righteousness, I have taken you by the hand and kept you; I have given you as a covenant to my people, a light to the nations, to open the eyes that are blind, to bring out the prisoners from dungeons, from the prison those who sit in darkness.

Holy Monday is the day Jesus entered the temple and was very angry at what He found there: people were buying and selling things. The temple looked like a market instead of a Holy Place of worship, the temple was a very special place for Jesus. Jesus cleared the Temple.
