In Loving Memory of Sister Arlene Miller

It is with heartfelt sadness that the Mt. Olive Church of God in Christ family acknowledges the passing of our beloved Sister Arlene Miller.

For many years, Sister Miller faithfully served Mt. Olive with unwavering dedication, humility, and excellence. Her commitment to the work of the Lord was evident through her service as President of the Deaconess Board, President of the Usher Board, and as a member of the Trustee Board. She faithfully supported the ministry and touched countless lives through her leadership, kindness, and servant’s heart.

Sister Miller was more than a faithful worker—she was an encourager. She always had a kind word, a warm smile, and a spirit that uplifted those around her. Her wisdom, faithfulness, and love for God’s people left an indelible mark on our church family.

While our hearts grieve her passing, we rejoice in the legacy she leaves behind and the assurance that she is now resting in the presence of the Lord whom she served so faithfully.

We will forever remember and cherish her memory.

✨🍰 MTO Women’s Department: Cake & Sip Fellowship Recap! 🍰✨

What an incredible time of sisterhood, laughter, creativity, and connection at our very first Women’s Department outing! Our Cake & Sip Fellowship was filled with sweet moments as we gathered to bond, fellowship, and decorate beautiful cakes together.

From the conversations shared to the memories made, it was a wonderful opportunity for our women to simply enjoy one another and strengthen the ties that make our sisterhood so special. The room was filled with joy, encouragement, and plenty of creativity!

A very special shout-out to Sister Brenda Hawkins, our event coordinator, for her outstanding work in planning and organizing this memorable experience. We also extend our heartfelt thanks to our gracious host, Sister Nicole Reynolds, for creating such a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Most importantly, thank you to every lady who participated and helped make the day such a success. Your presence made all the difference!

As we continue our theme, “Rooted. Rising. Ready.”, we are excited about the opportunities ahead to grow together in faith, fellowship, and purpose.

We’re already looking forward to our next outing! Stay tuned—there’s more sisterhood, fun, and fellowship on the way!
