My heart is aching over the tragedy of the shooting at the Islamic Center in our fair city. I mourn with the family of the security guard, our Islamic neighbors whose sacred space has been violated and the families of the shooters. All involved are precious children of God.
❤️‍🩹 Please join me in praying for peace to prevail. And although we don’t know anything about the shooters or their motives, they were undoubtedly in a hell of their own to think that shooting up the mosque, killing whoever was in their way, and then themselves was a good idea. We need to work for better mental health care, available to all.
