Thank you Lutheran Heritage Foundation for sending us biblical resources in the top 5 languages in San Diego County - English, Spanish, Vietnamese, Tagalog, and Arabic. We have stocked our Fellowship Hall and Free Library to better reach those in our community at Hope Lutheran Church in Linda Vista.

We are very excited to announce the Deaconess Commissioning Service for our very own Karen Swift will be held on Sunday, August 23, at 3:00 p.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.

After completing her studies and preparation through the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod’s deaconess program, She will be officially commissioned to serve as a deaconess. It is a special joy to be able to share this occasion with the congregations and people who have supported, encouraged, and prayed for her throughout this journey.

And so we would love to have you join us as she begin this new chapter of service in Christ’s Church.
