Hello everyone!

Hope all is well with you, your families and your ministry!

Yes, summer camps are right around the corner and we want to apologize for any lack of information out there. Please know that our heart and intent is to give our students and you leaders the best summer camp experience possible. With that being said, we have been waiting to give details because we wanted to have everything in place and because of some things outside of our control we had to wait on that.

- Sr. High Summer Camp July 17-21
- McGrath State Beach, camping on a campsite within walking distance to the beach.
- cost $285 per student/$100 per adult sponsor
- registration fee and forms due by Wednesday July 5. If sent in after that day the cost will be $310 per student.
- Unfortunately, we will not be able to provide transportation as we were hoping we could do. To provide transportation, it would cost between $40-60 extra per person for a round trip. We feel like that would be too steep for most of our groups that could use this option.
I'm sorry and I hope that this is not a "deal breaker" for any of you. For some, the drive will be a little bit farther than Quaker Meadows, but it will be worth it! And...definitely not as treacherous!
- We will be in Oxnard, very close to Ventura with options for some outreach work. Something we've been wanting to offer our students at summer camp but didn't have a way to do that...(even though last year we did help make care kits for the fire victims)
- The next message will include a list of what to bring and some information directly from our camp coordinator.

Please be in prayer as we continue to make all the necessary arrangements for an awesome summer beach camp!

Pretty much right after Elev8...Early Youth Summer Camp will be coming your way!!! If you are an incoming 7th - 9th grader, make sure and hit up your youth leaders for all the info about this years' amazing camp! Get your registration in before June 3rd for the Early Bird price of $285 ($300 after that date) Any questions regarding Early Youth Camp please contact Brad Black at Living Grace Fellowship in Fresno or [email protected]...in the meantime, enjoy this video of last year's Early Youth Camp!

Amazing week at Central Cal Early Youth Camp! Thank you to all who made this week such an awesome week for our young students! From our speakers, to our director, to our worship band, to our 'super heroes' to the camp staff, to our awesome video guy, to the counselors and leaders...but most importantly, thank you Holy Spirit for meeting us there and speaking into our hearts!

What: CentralCal NYI Kern Zone Back 2 School Bash
When: Friday August 22nd Kicking off
Where: Olive Knolls Church of the Nazarene
6201 Fruitvale Ave. Bakersfield
and Bakersfield Ice Sports Center
1325 Q St. #100
Bakersfield
Cost: $10 per student/adult leaders are Free
Who: Middle and High School students in the Kern Zone and throughout the CentralCal District

Details: We will meet at Olive Knolls for pizza/drinks, games, mini-concert with the Bryan Easter Band (our Sr. High Camp's speaker Jesse Morales is the drummer) worship and a short message...we will then all load up and make our way to the ice arena for broomball. We will be at the arena for an hour and a half, until 11:30pm! Ben George the youth pastor at Bakersfield First has made the gym at his church available for anyone who would want to stay overnight and drive back home on Saturday morning. Please let me know if you're coming and your numbers so we can have enough food for everyone. Thank you and hope to see some of you next Friday night!!!

Hey Central Cal, support our churches and their youth ministries by purchasing your fireworks at one of these booths near you!!! In the Bakersfield area head out to Bakersfield First @ 2801 Hughes Lane, Bakersfield CA 93304 from the hours of 12pm - 10pm and if you're up on the northern end of our district, head out to Oakdale Family Church @ 1700 West F Street, Oakdale CA 95361 9am-9pm. Guaranteed that they will treat you with a bright, shiny smile and maybe hook you up with some freebies!
