Pastor Von is a Christian minister who for more than 50 years has changed the lives of thousands of young people through no-nonsense Bible teaching and tireless service to the poor. From the turbulent 1960s to the self-indulgent present, Von has challenged our comfort zones and shaken our safe view of Jesus. Even now in his 80s, Von still crosses the border every week to take food, clothing, hope

and love to the dark and dangerous corners of Tijuana. We want to inspire thousands more to reach out with the infinite, inconvenient love of Christ. Have you been impacted by Von? Sitting on my desk is a huge pile of papers which contain the wisdom and writings of the late E.G. Von (AKA Pastor Von). Years ago I was able to co-write with him to get a lot of his youth ministry ideas into print. This summer I plan to embark on putting much more of the timeless wisdom from Von into a book form...but what I would really like is to accent it with quotes of Von that you might have heard or bits of wisdom spoken to you directly that still rattle around in your mind.
