We're so grateful for all of the congregations and organizations across San Diego who participated in our first collaborative Ash Wednesday service! Reflecting on Jesus' powerful, redemptive work on the cross with people from all across our city felt like a true glimpse of heaven.

We are happy to invite you to our first annual Christmas Together celebration on Dec 10, 2020 at Communion Church. This family-oriented event intends to bless our city with live Christmas music, a Christmas market, activities for kids, food trucks and much more.

Proceeds of the local makers market will benefit Hope for San Diego’s work serving s*x trafficking survivors, people experiencing homelessness, children in foster care, and refugees and immigrants.

"As pastors we can sometimes have difficulty talking about all of life. There are myriad reasons why this might be. Perhaps we’ve had traumatic experiences about sharing how we are “really doing” in an area of our lives and it was somehow weaponized against us. Perhaps we play the role of listener and caregiver to others so much that we have neglected our own wellbeing. Perhaps we have embraced shame in as a defining narrative of our lives. Perhaps we don’t fully believe that all areas of our lives actually matter."

We are deep in preparation for our Soul Care Retreat taking place next month. Please be in prayer for the pastors and church planters who will be attending.
