The Floaters" A Humorous and Warm-Hearted Film
Sunday, January 25, 3:15 PM - Let's have some fun enjoying the Jewish camp experience with the film, "The Floaters." This humorous and warm-hearted movie is at the San Diego International Jewish Film Festival. It is about two adult friends who reunite at their Jewish camp to mentor teens and save their business. The movie begins at 4:00, but we are lining up at the JCC at 3:15 PM. We can offer a limited number of group discount tickets for $8. You must contact Madrikha Beverly directly for purchase information soon, but no later than Thursday, January 22.
A meal at True Food Kitchen in La Jolla Square is planned for anyone interested in socializing after the show.
Tu B'Shevat Outdoor Experience
Saturday, January 31, 12:00 PM - The "New Year of the Trees" holiday, Tu B'Shevat, invites us be outside. One way to enjoy the sight, sound, and scent of trees is to walk through one of the many San Diego natural locations. That is what we have planned, come rain or shine. If rain, we'll find an indoor spot to celebrate nature. Mark your calendar for this event and details will follow soon.
