Please consider gathering with our community this evening in solidarity and prayer after the attacks on the Islamic Center yesterday.

And may we continue to pray for the families of the victims as well as the shooters, for the Muslim community, and especially for the uprooting of hatred and despair in our nation that continues to lead to such senseless acts of violence. Lord, have mercy.

The Islamic Center of San Diego has established the Official ICSD Victim & Family Support Fund to support individuals and families impacted by the tragic shooting incident at the ICSD masjid campus.
This fund will help provide direct assistance and recovery support for those affected during this extremely difficult time.
ICSD is managing this effort directly to help ensure transparency, accountability, and coordinated support for impacted families and community needs connected to this incident.
We respectfully ask community members not to create unofficial fundraising campaigns and to rely only on official ICSD communication channels for verified donation information.
Donations may be made as sadaqah or general charitable contributions.

We are praying for our neighbors at the Islamic Center today— the Imam and staff, teachers and students of the school, and all families and individuals both targeted and affected by this act of violent terrorism in our community. We believe God grieves with those who grieve, and is near to the brokenhearted. So may we draw near to one another, even across our differences, condemning gun violence, and investing in our hope for communities governed by peace. -Pastor Darin

Join us tonight at 7 p.m. as we observe Good Friday with our traditional tenebrae service. In this service we will read the story of Jesus’ final hours leading up to his death, and how on that day the Light was extinguished. This is a powerful, moving service that helps us not forget the grief that precedes resurrection.
