Our first priority is loving God and having a living relationship with Him. We seek to be conformed into the image of Christ by the transforming work of the Holy Spirit. CCPL began in 1991 as a little group meeting at the local elementary school. In the years since, God has abundantly blessed us with a great church family worshiping and serving the Lord together, being built up by the study of God

’s Word, which we believe is God’s "owner’s manual" for life. Our desire is to reach Point Loma, our country and the whole world for Jesus Christ. We are city on a hill that cannot be hidden. We believe all people need and should have the privilege of knowing Christ Jesus and the love of God. OUR PASTOR:

Pastor Michael Hickey has been attending Calvary Chapel Point Loma since the early days in 1993. In that time he has served the Lord in many capacities. In 2005 he became the assistant pastor, and in 2008 Michael became the senior pastor of Calvary Chapel Point Loma. Pastor Michael is a trained molecular biologist who has done extensive work in cancer research. But teaching the Bible and sharing God's love is his greatest joy.
