To God be the Glory, I am still on a spiritual high from yesterday's women's conference. So much wisdom imparted from our very own youth speakers to the older speakers.
Women were blessed just to be in fellowship with each other. The smiles, the tears, the hugs, to be heard, to listen to the hurt, to comfort, to guide, to encourage, to uplift, to be transparent, to build bridges, to hope and to change. To Become the woman God can use committing to be better and be available. My God how many needed this in our congregation and in the world?
But I must be honest my heart aches for the masses of women both in our church and in the world. Because many are struggling alone and feeling lost right in the Church. Afraid to step out on faith and ask for help. Then there are others withholding themselves, their love, their time, and all that talent and gifts God has given them to share with the body of Christ. Others the excuses I hear I've did my time, I'm too busy, I didn't know, I don't want to get involve with that group or that one, they hurt me many years ago, I'm broke, I have my own life and the pursuit of things that make me and mind happy and secure etc etc., excuses, excuses, excuses. I get it life has gotten busier than ever that's Satan M.O. to get us too tired, too busy into believing we've got salvation secured, I've already given not it's time for me "to do me".
No guilt trip really, just making an observation for some time now. However, I am calling us to examine ourselves have we brought into the world's watered down Christianity?
Have we really become christian's who stop following and obeying Christ to follow after the world's pattern of "Get Yours" "Take care of Self" "I ain't got time for that" "me and Jesus is Straight" "I've paid my dues". SMH! The devil is a liar!!!!!
God has/is too good for that.
God is calling US back to serve him and his people.
Women of all ages to get out of their comfort zones and go back to the basis foundation Christ has called us to do. "Make disciples teaching the word. And serve the body of Christ.
It's time to rise ladies, to come together and walk in our God given purposes. The church is dying!! When we stand before Christ what will we say?
Change won't come unless we be that change. Complaining is a waste of time. Be bold, Be a woman of God who steps out in faith. God didn't give us a spirit of fear but of love and power and of sound mind.
It's time ladies to get off those pews and get involved and use those gifts and talents for the Lord and others. WE NEED YOU and you NEED US! Souls are depending on you.
After all following Christ isn't about making sure our life here is the best it can be. It's about what we do for Christ that will last. He's promised to supply all our needs. But he's called us to seek the kingdom first. Obedience!
Life is busy and it will always be but if we want to hear the words "Well done, good and faithful servant" we better be wise up, examine ourselves and get back to doing what God has called us to do. And do not as many have already done forsake meeting with the assembly of God. The church needs us to serve the body of Christ in and out of the church.
Christ loved the church and gave his life for it.
The church body needs you!
