Hey whassup Fam!?! Praise the Lord! It’s 3XL’s 8 Year Anniversary and we would love to celebrate with you all! As you probably know 3XL transitioned from a church, and we are still a non-profit 501c3 but now a religious CDC, Community Development Corporation. And we still need your love and support. There’s 3 ways you can express that:
1. Please continue to pray for us. That we continue to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ, glorify God, and find ways to love, bless, and minister to our community. And for wisdom, guidance, and provision. Please pray for us.
2. You can support us financially. We are still blessing families in need with brand new baby cribs. Cribs are usually the single most expensive item for a new baby that many cannot afford. We’ve had record breaking amount of requests for baby cribs this past year. The convertible cribs are usually around $200 to $250 each, but any amount you donate is a blessing.
Also thanksgiving is coming up. As you know, we team up with local schools and Vons to bless families in need with full Thanksgiving meals that include a whole turkey and classic fixings, classic sides, that they can prepare and eat at home. The set meals can feed 6-8 people. Every year we’ve had an increase of requests and we are expecting another record breaking year. Last year we were able to bless 77 families (462 to 616 meals), we are expecting over a hundred this year, so we could really use your help.
This idea came from God reminding me of the way I grew up, without much, pretty poor for US standards. I remember Thanksgivings where all we had was sliced deli turkey meat, bread, and water, that’s it. All we could afford. It was like the Tupac video for “Dear Mama”, where you see the mom preparing simple turkey sandwiches during the lyric line, you made miracles every Thanksgiving. So we thought it would be a blessing to have families have a traditional Thanksgiving meal at home, with their families.
And we also work with local schools and donate various gift cards for Christmas to families who are struggling financially.

3. We need volunteers to deliver the cribs, and to deliver the Thanksgiving meals to the schools. Please hit me up if you’re interested.
