What is your purpose in life? Who is Jesus to you? Come as we study together Acts 9 and learn how because Jesus is alive, He is able to seek us and save us. He even wants to give us a mission and eternal purpose to make a difference for eternity. He can do it!

Good Saturday evening everyone. Sunday May 31 in San Diego is the Rock n Roll Marathon! The marathon runs right through North Park and past the church. We will have Sunday service at 4:00pm. After that service we will have a potluck.

We come to John 21:1-14 as the disciples were disappointed. What did they do? They returned back to what they knew best, fishing. Yet, Jesus meets them their to encourage, strengthen, and empower them to move forward according to His call and purpose in their life. The Good news is, The Risen Lord wants to meet you and transform you to press on when we encounter disappointments, discouragement, uncertainty, and failure. Let's learn how we can be transformed thru the Risen Jesus for our lives.

This is a good post and call for us to pray for our nation!

Tonight, we’re grieving the news of another act of violence in our nation. Lives made in the image of God were put at risk, and that should never feel normal to us.

We are also grateful for the safety of our president, vice president, and all those who were present — attendees, staff, and those in law enforcement and Secret Service who acted quickly to protect others.

Scripture is clear: violence, hatred, and the devaluing of human life are not just tragic… they are the fruit of a broken world and a sinful heart. And while moments like this often pull people into deeper division, we want to be a different kind of people.

Jesus calls us peacemakers. Not people who ignore evil, but people who overcome it with good.

So tonight, we’re going to pray.

We’re praying for continued safety and protection over our nation, especially those in harm’s way and processing the events of tonight.

We’re praying for wisdom and wise counsel for those making decisions in the days ahead.

We’re praying for healing — real, deep healing — in a nation that feels increasingly divided.

And we’re praying for the Church at large, that we would rise up as a different kind of people… bringing hope, not hostility; peace, not panic; the life of Jesus into every space we step into.

So God, we trust You. In a world that feels unstable, You are still steady.
