Standing by the cross of Jesus were his mother
and his mother’s sister, Mary the wife of Clopas,
and Mary Magdalene.
When Jesus saw his mother and the disciple there whom he loved
he said to his mother, “Woman, behold, your son.”
Then he said to the disciple,
“Behold, your mother.”
And from that hour the disciple took her into his home.

Today, on this beautiful day, we lift our hearts to God with profound gratitude for the gift of our Holy Father’s life.

We give thanks to the Lord for his vocation, his generous dedication, and the service he offers with love and humility to the Church and to the People of God. On this special day, we ask the Lord to continue to fill him with His love, abundant mercy, and the grace he needs to faithfully carry out his mission.

May the Holy Spirit continue to enlighten and guide him in every step of his journey as our shepherd, and may the Blessed Virgin Mary always cover him with her maternal mantle, accompanying him with her protection and intercession.

Happy Birthday, Holy Father! May God bless you, strengthen you, and grant you many more years of life in faithful service to the Church.

Hoy, en este hermoso día, elevamos nuestros corazones a Dios con profunda gratitud por el don de la vida de nuestro Santo Padre.

Damos gracias al Señor por su vocación, su entrega generosa y el servicio que, con amor y humildad, ofrece a la Iglesia y al Pueblo de Dios. En este día tan especial, le pedimos al Señor que continúe colmándolo de su amor, de su abundante misericordia y de la gracia necesaria para llevar adelante su misión.

Que el Espíritu Santo lo siga iluminando y guiando en cada paso de su caminar como nuestro pastor, y que la Santísima Virgen María lo cubra siempre con su manto maternal, acompañándolo con su protección e intercesión.

¡Feliz cumpleaños, Santo Padre! Que Dios lo bendiga, lo fortalezca y le conceda muchos años más de vida al servicio de la Iglesia.
