The purpose of Aftershock is to help families and friends who have lost someone they love to suicide. To show them that the light of Jesus continues to shine through their grief, to be able to share their grief openly and to use God's Word to be guide them through their grief. tly about their loved one’s death. Many families are shunned by friends and co-workers when they hear that they have lost someone to suicide. We want them to know that there are others out there whom will encourage them through their grief; teach them to lean on God; help them turn to God’s Word so they know that God never lets go of them; teach them God can use their pain and loss to help others. Aftershock meets the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month (unless otherwise noted), 6:30-8:30pm at the Rock Church in Room 212 . We will use God’s Word to help overcome the pain, guilt and learn about forgiveness. The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.
