This Sunday at 10 am, we welcome back former Music Director Andy Riggs and former music ministry member Rachel Konchinsky-Pate, who will join Jacob Rewa in leading “Singing the Psalms,” a special service centered around music and Psalms 100, 13, and 42.

Together, we'll explore the many ways God is revealed throughout the full range of human experience. The Psalms remind us that faith does not require us to feel only one thing at a time. Sometimes we encounter God in gladness and gratitude; sometimes in longing, confusion, or grief.

Rather than trying to resolve those tensions, we'll spend time with them. Through three different Psalms and music drawn from a variety of genres and styles, we'll give voice to experiences of joy and sorrow, trust and uncertainty, fear and hope.

This service is an invitation to bring our whole selves before God—whatever we are carrying, whatever we are feeling, and wherever we find ourselves today.

This Sunday at 10 am, we're doing worship a little differently.

As we conclude our Journeying by Stages series, our worship will be our service. We'll begin and end our time together with prayer and song, but instead of a traditional worship service, we'll spend our morning putting our faith into action.

Together, we'll assemble meal kits for our neighbors, make sandwiches, create Hearts of Hope, and write cards of encouragement for people who could benefit from knowing someone is thinking of them—including those in detention, members of the military, and our beloved seniors.

Acts 2:43–47 gives us a picture of the early church sharing what they had and caring for one another. This Sunday, we'll practice that spirit of community with our own hands.

We're reminded of the words attributed to Teresa of Avila: “Christ has no hands on earth but ours; ours are the hands with which Christ blesses all the world.”

Come join us as we use our hands as expressions of Christ's love. Everyone is welcome to participate!

This Sunday at 10 am, we conclude our August worship series, Journeying by Stages, with the sermon “Embracing Newness,” based on Isaiah 43:16–21.

“See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?”

Throughout this series, we've journeyed with Abraham, Joshua, and Peter, discovering that God's people have always been called to trust, to grow, and to follow the Spirit into new places. As we close the series, Isaiah's words invite us to celebrate God's faithfulness in every season while looking ahead with hope.

Where might God already be doing something new among us? And how might we faithfully step into it together?

This Sunday at 10 am, our August worship series, Journeying by Stages, continues with the sermon “Expanding Our Vision,” based on Acts 10:9–28.

In one of the New Testament's most surprising stories, Peter discovers that God is already at work in ways he never expected. His experience challenges him to cross boundaries, reconsider old assumptions, and begin seeing people with new eyes.

As we continue exploring what it means to follow God in a changing world, Peter's story invites us to consider where the Holy Spirit may be doing the same in our lives today. How might God be challenging our assumptions, widening our understanding, and expanding our vision of God's love and mission?

Join us as we listen for the Spirit that continues to surprise us and lead us beyond what we already know.

This Sunday at 10 am, we continue our worship series, Journeying by Stages, with the sermon “Unknown Territory,” based on Joshua 3:1–4, 9–17.

As the Israelites stand at the edge of the Jordan River, they face an uncertain future. God reminds them, "You have not passed this way before," inviting them to trust that God's presence will lead them into what lies ahead.

Every generation encounters moments of change, uncertainty, and new beginnings. This ancient story reminds us that faith is not the absence of uncertainty, but the courage to step forward knowing that God goes before us and makes a way.

Join us as we continue exploring what it means to follow God in a changing world and discover how we, too, can journey faithfully into unknown territory.

This Sunday at 10 am, we begin a new worship series, Journeying by Stages, with the sermon “Tents and Altars,” based on Genesis 12:1–9.

Where is God leading us next?

Throughout August, we'll explore how God's people have faithfully responded to God's call through times of change, uncertainty, and new beginnings. Drawing on stories from Scripture and reflecting on the changing world around us, we'll consider what it means to trust God's leading into new adventures.

This week, we begin with Abraham and Sarah, who leave behind everything familiar to follow God's promise into an unknown future. Their journey reminds us that faith is often less about having a detailed map and more about trusting the One who calls us forward.

As we gather around the Communion table, we'll be reminded that wherever the journey leads, Christ goes with us.

This Sunday at 10 am, we conclude our July worship series, Created Good: Rediscovering God's Blessing in Ourselves, One Another, and Creation, with the sermon “Welcome Home,” based on Luke 15:11–32.

Jesus' parable of the Prodigal Son has long been a story of grace, forgiveness, and reconciliation. It reminds us that no matter where we've been or what we've carried, God's response is not rejection but extravagant love.

Throughout July, we've reflected on God's original blessing over creation, God's steadfast love that knows us completely, and God's grace that meets us even in our shame. As this series comes to a close, we're invited to remember that the final word belongs not to fear or failure, but to welcome.

What does it mean to become a church where every person can hear the words, "Welcome home"?

Join us as we worship together and celebrate the God whose love always makes room for us.
