When planning, focus on planning.
When following the plan, focus on the activity with full awareness.
This means to notice when things are not going according to plan and to make adjustments as needed. It means to not cling to the plan.

It's tempting to ignore the planning part, since we know everything is transitory. However taking the time to create the plan is part of the pathway - oftentimes it is act of planning that changes us, allowing us to grow into a new form ready for adventures we could not previously dream.
