God’s love ….

Corrects us - ”My child, don’t reject the Lord’s discipline, and don’t be upset when he corrects you. For the Lord corrects those he loves, just as a father corrects a child in whom he delights.“
Proverbs 3:11-12

Comforts us - ”As a mother comforts her child, so will I comfort you;
Isaiah 66:13

Changes us - ”So all of us who have had that veil removed can see and reflect the glory of the Lord. And the Lord—who is the Spirit—makes us more and more like him as we are changed into his glorious image.“
2 Corinthians 3:18

Complete us - ”May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God.“
Ephesians 3:19

My prayer for you today friends, is that you fully embrace the presence of God in your life and allow His love to Correct, Comfort, Change, and Complete you. To God be the Glory ♥️

As I spend time reading and digging deeper into studying God‘s word, He reveals portions of scripture that I’ve read repeatedly, and He opens my heart to spiritual understanding. I cannot possibly know all there is to know about Him in one sitting. He is God, and like a loving father, he holds back understanding until He sees fit to reveal it, and in His perfect timing. My heavenly Father knows what I need, when I need it. There is depth and riches in His word waiting for us as we read, pray, and wait for understanding.

The choice is yours!

”Don’t you realize that you become the slave of whatever you choose to obey? You can be a slave to sin, which leads to death, or you can choose to obey God, which leads to righteous living.“
‭‭Romans‬ ‭6‬:‭16‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Are there clear areas in your life you need to change? Are there things you are letting control you that you shouldn’t?
You do t need to wait to change. You don’t need to wait to start a new program. You don’t need to wait til tomorrow for that fresh start. You don’t need to wait until a Monday, or new month, or new year.
You can stop being a slave to those things that are controlling you, and you can choose to obey God right now in this minute and have it be the first step towards righteous living.

”Thank God! Once you were slaves of sin, but now you wholeheartedly obey this teaching we have given you. Now you are free from your slavery to sin, and you have become slaves to righteous living.“

Philippians 2:2, “ Fulfill my joy, by being like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.”
Proverbs 6:14, “With deceit in his heart he devises evil; he continually sows discord.”
Sewing discord is causing strife, division, and stirring up disagreements of worthless things among Christians. The Lord detest these things, it is an abomination to Him (Prov 6:19). In a time when Christians should unite, there seems to be more fighting and arguments, especially on social media. As believers and followers of Christ, we may not agree with everything, but don’t you agree we should be united against the enemy when it comes to our purpose in witnessing to the lost souls? How can we be a witness when we’re too concerned about being right in the temporary status of this world? We can accomplish much more for God‘s kingdom when you’re united.

There are times when I feel weak, discouraged, frustrated, and feel like quitting. I know my soul needs encouragement, it needs refreshing, and restoration. I know that restoration can only come from Jesus, and that everything else is temporary. But sometimes I still find myself going to other sources for a quick fix. I might call a friend to vent, veg out on a good lifetime show, or take a trip to target to walk the isles endlessly with my favorite Starbucks in hand. I don’t know why these things bring me momentary satisfaction but I do know it is only momentary.

What about you? Where do you go when your soul needs restoring? Do you turn to things that will bring momentary satisfaction or do you turn to Jesus who will lead you in paths of righteousness for His names sake? Let’s make it our prayer today to turn to Jesus.

HE is our Joy
HE is our Strength
HE is our Comforter
HE is our Strong Tower
HE is our Counselor
HE is our Provider
HE is our Anchor
HE is our Hope
HE IS ENOUGH.

Wherever you’re at, whatever you’re facing, whatever you’re need is - Know that No weapon formed against you will prosper! Because Jesus is and always will be all that you need, because HE IS ENOUGH. ♥️

Need Wisdom?
Do you need wisdom? How do you acquire it? The Bible says in James 1:5, ” If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it’ll be given to him.”
I can become overwhelmed with making the right decision. I seek the Lord when I need wisdom for certain circumstances, I pray, I read my Bible, I ask for confirmation, I talk it out and wait for a breakthrough and for his peace. Sometimes I make wrong decisions especially when I become impatient and don’t want to wait. Yes, I suffer the consequences of my wrong choices. Consequences are great reminders to seek the Lord first in everything because he will never direct me down the wrong path. I am so grateful for God‘s mercy. He is always faithful to point me back in the right direction.

“When He had stopped speaking, He said to Simon “Launch out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch.” But Simon answered and said to HIM, “Master we have toiled all night and caught nothing; Nevertheless at your word I will let down the net.” And when they had done this, they caught a great number of fish, and their net was breaking.” –Luke 5:4-6

Have you ever felt that you have toiled again and again over the same matter and issues in life? You keep trying, giving your all but to no avail. Nothing changes and it appears that nothing will change. You’re tired, you’re frustrated and you’re ready to give up? Maybe you have even had those moments like Simon had with Jesus when you tell him “Lord I’m trying but this just isn’t working?” But yet you hear the voice of the Lord nudging you “Keep going, don’t give up, be obedient, the blessing is just around the corner.” Sometimes I get tired of doing what’s right, I get tired of unanswered prayer, I get tired from toiling over the same thoughts, prayers and circumstances.

Today I am reminded not to give up even when you feel like you have been launched out into the deep. The disciples were probably tired, frustrated, and discouraged too, but because they were obedient to do what Jesus asked them to do – they were blessed. So whatever has you feeling like you are toiling to no avail – Hang in there, don’t give up, and stand strong in your faith because He is a rewarder of those that diligently seek HIM!💕

One of my favorite things about the life of Moses is the miracle that happened for his mom. She defied the law to keep her child safe, obeying God rather than man. Then when she could no longer keep him safe, she entrusted him to God and let him go. Literally, like floating down a river.
What did God do? Brought him back to her and even paid her to nurse and care for her own son.
What am I not trusting God with? What is it I need provided and think there is no possible way? What if I followed the old Christian saying “let go and let God!” ?
Do I trust God is able to bring back to me what I have let go into His care and even provide financially in a time when it should be impossible?

2Tim 2:23-24
“But avoid foolish and ignorant disputes, knowing that they generate strife. And a servant of the Lord must not quarrel, but be gentle to all, able to teach, patient, in humility correcting those who are in opposition, if God, perhaps will grant them repentance, so that they may know the truth, and that they may come to their senses, and escape the snare of the devil, haven’t been taken captive by him to do his will.”
Extremely applicable for today! I do not have to argue or fight or demean someone who is wrong, or in opposition of God‘s word. There is a huge difference when you come to a disagreement or a misunderstanding, in humbleness and patience with a heart to genuinely teach what is true. It is not trying to prove you are right for the sake of being right, but for the sake of hoping they will come to repent and to reason sensibly together for them to grasp the truth and be free from the snare and lies of the enemy.
