Join us for a sacred signing ceremony of the Gaza Children’s Shroud. We will begin with opening remarks and prayer at 11:30 am, and will have the shroud available until 1:30 pm.

Last week, an individual broke into our church and vandalized it by damaging a water pipe and leaving the water running. Although the incident caused some damage, we are blessed to have insurance, and we were able to file a claim to help cover the repairs.

As we prepare to replace the carpet, we have decided to come together as a church family and write Bible passages before the new carpet is laid.

Although there may be people who seek to hurt us because they themselves are hurting, we choose to bless them rather than respond with anger. We forgive, we pray for them, and we trust that God will continue to protect our church, our congregation, and everyone who enters through our doors.

Join us this Sunday, June 7, at 10 AM as Pastor Allie Rowland continues our sermon series, "Healthy Communication: How to Listen and Be Heard in a Digital Age," with "Group Messaging: Has God Left the Chat?"

Group messaging is an important tool for allowing us to share information and communicate online, but we are challenged when misunderstandings occur. We often don’t know how to deal with it when someone leaves the conversation and you see that your friend has “left the chat.” Additionally, many of us have had the experience on social media of being on the receiving end of disrespectful or abusive language. When that starts, it feels like God has left the chat. And we wonder what has happened to our ability to communicate ethically, respectfully, and with love. Early Christians had to deal with their share of church drama and miscommunication with delayed or missing letters. They had to decide what unified them. How do we maintain our calmness and our civility when it seems like God has left the chat?
