Saturday Evening Devotion
As we prepare our hearts for Communion Sunday, take a moment tonight to pause and reflect on the goodness of God. Communion reminds us that Jesus gave His life so we could live with hope, forgiveness, and victory.
Meditate on this truth:
Because of the cross, I am redeemed. Because of His blood, I am covered. Because He lives, I have hope.

Read tonight: 1 Corinthians 11:23–26
Let the Word settle your spirit and prepare your heart for worship tomorrow.

Saturday Evening Prayer

Heavenly Father,
Thank You for the gift of Your Son, Jesus Christ, and for the sacrifice He made on our behalf. As we prepare for Communion Sunday, cleanse our hearts, renew our minds, and draw us closer to You.
Let Your peace rest in our homes tonight.
Let Your presence meet us in worship tomorrow.
Bless every person who is coming, and touch every soul who will walk through the doors of Bethel AME Church.
Make tomorrow a day of healing, unity, and spiritual refreshing.

Come ready for fellowship, food, laughter, and love. Let’s celebrate the goodness of God together as one family.

Sunday — Missionaries Annual Day!

Join us as we honor the work, witness, and service of our Missionaries. It’s going to be a powerful day of worship and thanksgiving.
Let’s walk into this weekend with strength renewed, spirits lifted, and love overflowing. God is moving at Bethel — let’s show up ready!

Bethel Family, grace and peace.
Tomorrow is our sacred Wednesday Fast & Prayer, and we are inviting everyone to join us as we seek God together in unity, strength, and expectation.

Let Us Continue in Prayer
The Hunter Family — covering Sister Annette Huner and her entire family as they continue to walk through this season of grief. May God’s comfort, peace, and sustaining strength surround them day by day.

Sister Candace Nash‑Everett & Family — lifting them in love as her beloved husband, Reggie, transitioned from labor to reward last week. May God hold them close and grant them rest, healing, and hope.

Church Unity — praying that God keeps Bethel strong, connected, and moving forward with one heart and one spirit.

Our New Bethel One Community — asking God to bless every detail, every plan, and every person connected to this new community.

Upcoming Church Events — covering every gathering, every ministry effort, and every outreach opportunity with prayer, excellence, and God’s favor.

Devotional Thought — “God Meets Us When We Seek Him”
“Seek the Lord and His strength; seek His face continually.” — 1 Chronicles 16:11
Fasting is our weekly reminder that God responds when we intentionally make room for Him. As we fast tomorrow, let’s pause throughout the day to pray, reflect, and invite God into every concern, every decision, and every need. He is faithful to meet us.

Prayer
Father, we come before You with humble hearts as we prepare for our Wednesday Fast and Prayer. Cover the Hunter family and Sister Candace Nash‑Everett’s family with Your comfort and peace. Strengthen our church unity, bless the Bethel One community, and guide every upcoming event. Touch every household, every leader, and every member of Bethel. Meet us in a powerful way as we seek Your face.
