Grateful for tonight’s service, the music, and all who joined us as we reflected on the ultimate sacrifice Jesus made on our behalf.

Our Holy Week continues Saturday at 4pm with Archie and the Archtones, our resident jazz trio, offering a tribute to “A Love Supreme” by John Coltrane. Not to be missed.

Then join us on Easter Sunday at 9:30am as we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Through Word and Sacrament, we will gather for a Christ-centered service including a message rooted in Scripture, the sharing of Communion, and a rich blend of musical worship. The service will conclude with Handel’s “Hallelujah Chorus,” and all are welcome to join the choir in the loft.

Come and enter fully into the hope and victory of Christ this Holy Week. He is risen!

“Then came the morning that sealed the promise,
Your buried body began to breathe.
Hallelujah, praise the One who set me free.
Hallelujah, death has lost its grip on me.”

The morning of resurrection was the moment God fulfilled His promise. When Christ’s body began to breathe again, the power of sin and death was broken forever. That same breath now fills every heart made new in Him. Jesus lives, and hope lives with Him.

✝️ “He has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.” (1 Peter 1:3, ESV)

Come play with us! The Westminster Orchestra is back, rehearsing on Wednesdays from 6:00–8:00 p.m. We perform in worship about 20 Sundays each year and present 4 major concert events annually. The time commitment is focused, but the joy of making music together is immeasurable.

Our repertoire ranges from timeless masterworks to modern sacred pieces, always offered in a spirit of worship and excellence. Along the way, we share meaningful fellowship and the unique bond that comes from creating music side by side.

Scotland ‘26 Preferred Registration NOW OPEN 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 🎶

We’re excited to announce that registration for Scotland ‘26 is now open—exclusively to a select group before it goes public.

This early access is reserved for:
✅ Singers/Musicians at First Pres San Diego
✅ Past Tour Participants
✅ Our Social Media Followers

If that’s you, here’s your opportunity to reserve a spot before public registration begins.

How it works:
👉 Send an email to [email protected]
👉 Subject line: “Scotland ‘26 Preferred Registration”
👉 Include:
• Full names of all travelers in your party
• Email addresses for each person

You’ll receive a registration number based on when your email is received (first come, first served). On Monday, August 4th, you’ll use that number to officially register online and pay the $600.00 deposit.

🕛 Your number holds your spot until 11:59pm on Monday, August 4th. After that, any unclaimed places will be released when registration opens to the public at 12:00am, August 5th.

There are only 25 total spots on the tour. If you’re hoping to be part of it, this is your best chance to jump to the front of the line. Please note: reserving a spot in the queue is expressing a commitment to follow through with online registration on Monday, August 4th. This opportunity is intended for serious applicants only.
