SERMON RECAP —Sunday Service at the PPBC 6/14 /26

“I Will Give Thanks in EVERYTHING”

Family, during our past Sunday worship at 11am. We were reminded that GIVING thanks is not tied to comfort — it’s tied to confidence in God. We don’t thank God because everything is good… We thank Him because He is good in everything.

1. I Will Give Thanks in the Midst of Trials — Romans 8:28

Even when life hits hard, God is still working all things together for good. My trial is not the end — it’s the evidence that God is up to something.

2. I Will Give Thanks in Tribulation — John 16:33

Jesus told us trouble would come, but He also told us He already overcame. So even in pressure, I can praise.

3. I Will Give Thanks in My Test — James 1:2–3

Tests develop me. Tests mature me. Tests strengthen my faith. If God allowed the test, He’s going to use the test.

WHY? Because God Calls Us To…

• Rejoice forevermore • Pray without ceasing • Give thanks IN all things

Not for everything — but in everything. Good days or bad days, highs or lows, sunshine or storms… We are called to give thanks IN IT ALL.

Praise God for His Word and the power of worship and fellowship during this past Sunday Service. Be the light this week, fam — Matthew 5:16.

To God Be the Glory!
This past Sunday was filled with joy and blessings. The fellowship at Pilgrim Progressive Baptist Church was truly Spirit-filled, and we thank God for His presence among us.
A special thank you to the Elevation Praise Choir for the amazing job they did in leading us in worship. Your dedication and ministry through song were a blessing to all.
We would also like to thank everyone who joined us for our annual outing to Oceanside. Each year, God allows us to enjoy wonderful fellowship, laughter, and memorable moments together, and this year was no exception. We truly had a great time in the Lord!
Lastly, we extend heartfelt Anniversary wishes to Rev. Price and Sis. Price of Second Missionary Baptist Church. May God continue to richly bless, strengthen, and keep you as you faithfully serve His people. We pray that the Lord grants you many more years of love, ministry, and Kingdom work.
