REFLECTION POST:

What a Big Massive year 2022 has been!

- Shifted from XA staff to now XA Directors
- Recruited a XA Hawaii Team of amazing staff
- Finished FUNDRIASING wohooooo
- Moved to a different State
- Became parents to a Beautiful daughter (Maisy)
- Began pioneering CHI ALPHA (XA) ministry IN HAWAII cheeeeeeeeee 🤙🏾

Kelsey, Maisy and I are SOOOOOO Thankful to everyone who has and continues to pray, love and financially partner with us!

Without God’s love and God blessing us with each of you, we couldn’t imagine how we could be so thankful of where we are now in our life.

So to keep it short

People ask us a lot what does day to day Ministry look like?

Well today it is getting our daughter to nap in a student parking structure while my wife is doing a one on one with a student! Haha Ptl she’s napping good!

SUCCESS!!!

Our first student event was a success we got 6 students to come over our house for dinner to hear the vision of Chi Alpha in Hawaii!

Students enjoyed themselves so much that when we finished at 7:30pm, they ended staying till 10pm to fellowship and hangout!

As we watched these students who came as strangers, walk to their cars to leave as friends, Kelsey and I felt so deep gratitude to God and to you all for walking with us in this exciting season.

Thank you for all your prayers! What an amazing start to our pioneering season!!!

Guess who just Landed in Oahu today! Woohoo!!!

God is soo good! We are humbled and Deeply grateful beyond belief to be here today! Not many know the challenges it takes to take this step of faith. But with God anything is possible!

Thank you God for giving us strength and major Thank you to our Financial and prayer partners for walking with us and believing with us in seeing revival in the universities of Hawaii!

The Chalko-Mique’s are back in the air flying to Seattle Washington!

Excited to be with our church families this weekend
-Hope of the City Church
-Midway Samoan AG

Please pray with us for Safe travel and that God would use us to be an encouragement to those we are with and also that we would meet more financial partners to get us fully funded for Hawaii!

We just need 8% left to support raise! Woohoo! So Close! Thank we appreciate your prayers so much! 🙏🏾

Love finds a need and meets it.

One thing I love about walking with God during fundraising is when God uses Kelsey and I to love the Church body, beyond college students so well:

- An older man came up to kelsey and I after Kelsey preached sharing how he was blessed by the message.
quickly I felt the Holy Spirit encourage me to share how God has so much compassion for him in that moment. When I shared it with this man, his face quickly shifted from joy to tears, sobbing and saying

“thank you thank you, I needed that today, I needed to hear that. Tonight I will be going through the finalization of his divorce. “

He shared how in his heart he needed to hear that he is not alone, and he needed compassion.

Love finds a need and meets it 🤙🏾

During our month travel, we were so blessed to speak or share a window about Chi Alpha Hawaii with some of our amazing church families!

The first church we got to speak at was Charisma life under pastor Alan Dionson!

Thank you pastor Alan, your church family and staff for hosting us so well, partner with our ministry, and overall be such a kind and encouraging community to our family.

We are officially at 92% of raising our budget Praise God!
After a whole month of back to back traveling with Kelsey and Maisy to:
LA for Filipino American Conference
San Diego for Chi Alpha Wedding I officiated
Arizona for National Chi Alpha Conference
and fundraising all in between
we finally got some time to rest and be with family before we travel again to Seattle and the East Coast to try and finish fundraising and finally get to Hawaii!!!

Although it’s been long, exhausting and hard work, it still is Amazing and refreshing to see God move in great miraculous ways, from seeing God heal the sick or the hurting, see lives transformed by Gods love, experience God give us knowledge or words of encouragement for people that brought them to tears and surprise!

Again, we can’t do this without your prayers and support. We love and appreciate you!
