"Lent comes providentially to awaken us, to shake us from our lethargy" - Pope Francis

A new month has arrived, finding us in the desert of Lent. The beauty of our Church is that you are not alone on this desert journey.

Come experience community and walk through Lent with other Catholic Young Adults here at St. Therese of Carmel. We meet every Thursday at 7 pm. Currently, we are doing a Bible Study on Salvation History.

Apart from our regular meetings, we also have a special night Musical Meditations on the Sorrowful Mysteries and our Local Voices Night, where locals can sign up to show off their gifts. More info on that soon.

We are super excited to host a Lenten retreat here at STOC, and want to invite you all to join us a morning and afternoon of prayer, recollection, and fellowship. The retreat theme is based on our patroness, St. Therese! Come learn about this holy Saint and how we can aspire to the Little Way to Holiness during this season of Lent. Happy February! With Lent right around the corner, now is a great time to join us here at STOCYAM! We will be diving into a Bible Study through the lens of salvation history. You bring yourself, and we bring the bibles!

Our first monthly dinner outing was a blast! We'd love to see you at the next one! We meet after 5:30 PM mass the last Sunday of every month. Meet in front of the church, and we'll discuss where to go from there! Join us for food and fellowship!
