Last year the Church provided a $25k grant to Samaritan House in San Mateo. 20+ year volunteer and Latter-day Saint Denise Lechthaler-Savasta arranged a tour for San Mateo stake leaders to come learn about volunteer opportunities and services at Samaritan House, which are many! Food pantries and meal deliveries, kids’ closet, English classes, health care, housing assistance, and more! Looking forward to many more years of partnership with Samaritan House!

*New* San Mateo Stake Presidency!

Members and friends of the San Mateo California Stake of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints met for a stake conference on Jan 25th & 26th that included the reorganization of the stake presidency.

The stake conference was presided over by Elder Kevin Hamilton - General Authority Seventy who was accompanied by Elder Dow Wilson - Area Seventy.

On Jan 26th, the stake sustained Aaron R.W. Gilbert as Stake President with Jason A Eggers as 1st Counselor and Jon A Andersen as 2nd counselor.
