Today we bid farewell to Christina Garza, who is leaving her position as Digital Media Specialist for the diocese. If you have enjoyed the posts, reels and beautiful graphics on our diocesan social media platforms for the past 7 years you have Christina’s great talent and faith to thank for it. She has made the diocese a leader among statewide Catholic organizations in social media engagement. For her exemplary work in service of the local Church she was honored yesterday at the DPC Mass with the St. Bernardine Award. Now she begins a new chapter and we pray for God’s blessings upon her and her new family. Well done, Christina. We’ll miss you!

God often works through ordinary people to accomplish extraordinary things. When we open our hearts to His call, He can use us to bring hope, healing, and His love to others. The question is not whether God is calling, but whether we are willing to answer. Today, Auxiliary Bishop Rutilio del Riego celebrated the Mass of Consecration of the United States to the Sacred Heart of Jesus at Our Lady of the Rosary Cathedral, joining the bishops of the United States in this historic act of faith.

As our nation prepares to celebrate its 250th anniversary, the Church entrusts the United States to the loving care of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, praying that our country may be guided by His mercy, truth, and peace.

Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us!
Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray for us! ❤️🙏

Although Asian and Pacific Islander Heritage Month has concluded, we continue recognizing the many cultures that enrich our diocesan family. Today, we honor our Arab Catholic communities, whose faith, traditions, and commitment to the Gospel contribute greatly to the life of the Church throughout the Diocese of San Bernardino.

Bishop Rojas reminds us of the power of the Holy Spirit in our lives. He shared, “The action of the Holy Spirit does not stop. The fact that you are here today is a result of the action of the Holy Spirit.”

What a beautiful reminder that God continues to work in and through us every day. May we remain open to the guidance of the Holy Spirit and attentive to His presence in our lives. 🙏🕊️

On this Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ, communities of faith throughout our diocese gave powerful public witness to the power of the Eucharist in our hearts and souls. In one example, parishioners of The Holy Name of Jesus joined in a Eucharistic Procession through the streets of south Redlands, quietly praying and singing in devotion to our Lord. Happy Corpus Christi Sunday!

🎓✨ Congratulations to the Continuing Ministry Formation Program (CMFP) Class of 2026! ✨🎓

Today, Bishop Alberto Rojas celebrated the CMFP Graduation Mass, honoring students who have dedicated the past three years to deepening their faith and strengthening their ministries.

In his homily, Bishop Rojas shared three hopes for the graduates as they continue their ministry journey:

🙏 Keep a strong prayer life
🤝 Always strive to collaborate with others in ministry
đź’™ Encounter every person with the tenderness of our Blessed Mother

We give thanks to God for the commitment and dedication of these graduates and for all who helped make this celebration possible.

Please join us in congratulating the CMFP Class of 2026 and praying for them as they continue answering Christ’s call to serve His Church! 🙏

The Eucharist is not just a symbol—it is Christ’s gift of Himself to us.

Jesus, the Living Bread from Heaven, feeds us with His love, strengthens us with His grace, and leads us to eternal life.
