REUNIÓN DE REDIME
Con alegría pudimos como Red de Instituciones de Formación Teológica Metodista de América Latina y el Caribe tener una reunión durante el almuerzo con los miembros de REDIME que participan en la Conferencia General de La Iglesia Metodista Unida.

Además de la posibilidad de percibir los caminos de REDIME en América Latina y el Caribe, recibimos como parte del grupo al obispo Américo de Argentina, a los obispos Bruno Roberto y Marcos Garcia de Brasil. También en la reunión dimos la bienvenida a hermanos y hermanas de las iglesias de Costa Rica y de la MCCA - Methodist Church in the Caribbean and the Americas.

Además, en una mirada conjunta a las agencias de La Iglesia Metodista Unida, el Rev. Luis Cardoso, de GBGM y misionero en Uruguay, participó en el almuerzo.
Estuvieron con nosotros: Mons. Américo Jara Reys, de Argentina; Mons. Agustín Altamirano, México, Mons. Bruno Roberto, Brasil; la Sra. Evelin Wibemer, Presidenta de la Iglesia del Uruguay; el obispo Juan de Dios, de El Salvador; Mons. Marcos García, obispo de Brasil; Amos Nascimento, GBHEM; David Martínez, GBHEM; Kimberly Lord, GBHEM; Luis Cardoso, GBGM, Paulo García, GBHEM; así como hermanos y hermanas de Costa Rica y Obispo Juan Simpson, MCCA – Methodist Church in the Caribbean and the Americas. El Obispo César Llanco, no llegó a tiempo para la reunión, pero pronto estará con nosotros.

Fue un momento para evaluar el camino, ampliar las alianzas y construir nuevas formas de fortalecer la educación teológica en nuestros países con una inmersión y una respuesta profunda a la realidad local y una mirada más integral del metodismo latinoamericano y mundial.
