Ecclesia's Youth Ministry Ecclesia Christian Fellowship's Youth Ministry: "We strive to teach and demonstrate the love of JESUS

Every teen gets to live through challenges that can literally pull a person’s heart in a million directions, but all of the pressure and conflict involved in this stretch of life is elevated in teens trying to find their place in Christ. How do you walk in purity when everyone around you is having s*x? How do you maintain grace in your speech when every other person is gossiping, cursing, or shari

ng stories that come from websites that you aren’t allowed by law to visit at school? These are real questions that require real answers and real engagement with the same urgency and intent that we use to share Jesus; because He is the only one who can teach us, for He is the answer. In an identity crisis, people need stability to hold on to as they come to affirm and establish their own identity and root it firmly. Christ has to be this stability for teens, but in addition to showing His glory and mercy at the cross, we must demonstrate how His grace can instruct and strengthen daily, so teens can see and become who they are really meant to be. This is our goal and ministry focus, to teach and demonstrate what people are meant to be when impacted by God’s grace. This is not preaching or teaching or a steps-to-success program, this is a ministry of process that utilizes all three to help teens look past the broken images of what teens are encouraged to be, so they can see who God has made them to be.

Happy Labor Day Family.

1 Corinthians 15:58 (NIV)
Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.

Joshua Pastor Beckley
In the Bible, the primary original meaning of "labor" goes beyond physical drudgery but literally means an active service, striving towards a goal, and partnership in God's creative work.

Abad (Hebrew - עָבַד): Frequently translated as "labor" or "work" (such as in the Fourth Commandment in Exodus 20:9), its root meaning is "to serve" or "to worship". It is translated as "serve" over 200 times in the Old Testament. Work is fundamentally an act of service—ultimately rendered to God rather than man.
