Church family, this week we are being reminded that even the people who pray for others, lead others, and quietly carry the burdens of the church also experience deep personal sorrow. Pastor Janeth Wakesho Masinde is now mourning the loss of another daughter, having already buried one of her daughters a few years ago, while Elder Erastus Bundi is carrying the unimaginable grief of losing two sisters within hours of each other, and these are not simply announcements to us, but painful wounds being carried by faithful servants who have stood beside many others in their darkest moments. Let us therefore respond not as spectators to grief, but as a true family of faith that knows how to pray, show up, sit with pain, and help carry one another through the difficult valleys of life.

ROOTED AND RISING
A New Chapter for Church of Amazing Grace International

Dear Family and Friends,

With grateful hearts and steady hope, the Church of Amazing Grace International enters a sacred new chapter in our 15 years of ministry.

On February 28, 2026, we conclude our long-standing relationship and partnership with the Presbytery of Los Ranchos — a season marked by growth, friendship, and faithful service. On March 1, 2026, we begin a new partnership and relationship with the Riverside Presbytery.

Transitions hold both gratitude and courage. We honor where we have been. We rise toward what God is preparing next.

Under the theme “Rooted and Rising,” we warmly invite you to join us for this historic and celebratory worship service on:

For this first service in our new season, we will gather at our temporary worship location:

First Presbyterian Church of San Bernardino

This location is approximately two miles from our permanent church home, which is currently under restoration. While the building is being renewed, our worship continues — steady, expectant, and alive.

We are especially honored to welcome as our guest preacher:

His presence among us reflects our deep spiritual roots and our global Reformed identity. As a congregation shaped in the diaspora yet anchored in historic faith, this moment carries profound meaning. We are rooted in Christ. We are rooted in heritage. And we are rising into a new chapter of mission.
