We after 7 services in 6days. One more to go!
Tonight at 5pm.

It’s been an incredibly refreshing and powerful move of God at Highwaves during our 2026 Breaking New Ground 7-day fast.
I’m so grateful for our amazing church that united to see a move of God. The hunger in the Highwaves room was indescribable.
To our amazing worship team that sang for all 6 nights, thank you. To our media team, prayer team, and cleaning team, thank you.
Days like this mark our lives.

We saw massive salvation, baptism of the Holy Ghost, healing, joy break loose , fire ignited, overflow crowd seating and sweet presence of Jesus.

People say the church in America does not come out for 7 days straight of prayer and revival-style gatherings unless it’s a famous preacher or popular singer. But the culture we fuel is the culture we will get.

Excited for the last night tonight.
This fast has been marked with a tangible move of God.

When the situation seems out of control, remind your heart that God is still in control.

And this is where the real tension lives.

Santa says be good and you will be rewarded.
Jesus says you were lost, and I came to find you.

One trains behavior.
The other transforms the heart.

Here is the question many parents quietly wrestle with but rarely say out loud.
What happens when children discover that the figure who watched them, judged their behavior, and rewarded them… was not real?

For some families, it is harmless tradition.
For others, it introduces an early confusion between fantasy and truth, performance and grace.

Jesus did not come wrapped in a story to motivate better behavior.
He came wrapped in flesh to reveal truth.

Scripture says you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
Not managed.
Not motivated.
Free.

The Gospel is not behave better and earn love.
The Gospel is that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

This is not about canceling joy or traditions.
It is about guarding trust, clarity, and the message of grace.

Hear my heart.
Children do not need another system to perform under.
They need a Savior they can trust.

So here is the real question.
Do Santa traditions help or hurt the way children understand Jesus?

God is lifting you where your effort could never take

Science is finally confirming what Christians have experienced for generations.
Prayer doesn’t just strengthen your spirit.
It literally changes your brain.

Researchers using MRI and EEG scans have found that consistent, focused prayer activates the parts of the brain responsible for clarity, discipline, emotional stability, and long-term decision making.

They also discovered something else.
During prayer, activity in the fear and stress centers of the brain begins to quiet down.
That may be why people who live a lifestyle of prayer often experience deeper peace, faster recovery from trauma, and greater self-control.

And this isn’t just general mindfulness.
The strongest effects show up in relational prayer—the kind of intentional conversation with God that Scripture teaches.

Romans 12:2 has been telling us this for 2,000 years:
“Be transformed by the renewal of your mind.”

The Bible spoke it.
Believers lived it.
Now the data is catching up.

Prayer renews the mind.
And heaven still answers when you pray.
