We are the little brown church in the wildwood. An affiliate of the Global Methodist Church, Oak Island was founded over 150 years ago on the outskirts of San Antonio, Texas. Throughout the years we have grown and developed into the church we are today. Located at 2970 DeVilbiss lane

our main sanctuary sits right next to our original one-room rock sanctuary and our historic cemetery. Our doors are open to everyone and we invite you to join us in worship. SUNDAY WORSHIP 10:00 AM
Sunday School- All Ages 11:15 AM
KIDS NIGHT OUT-Elementary- High School Wednesdays 6:00 PM

Welcome Home, Bishop Leah! ❤️

On behalf of the churches, pastors, and people of the MidTexas Conference, we are incredibly grateful to welcome Bishop Leah Gregory home!

We had sincerely hoped to see Bishop Leah re-elected as a bishop of the Global Methodist Church. Her leadership, wisdom, faithfulness, and love for the Church have blessed so many of us, and we were proud to support her as she sought to continue serving the GMC in that role.

But we also believe that God is not finished writing the story.

We are thankful that God is bringing Bishop Leah back to MidTexas to serve as our Conference Superintendent. While this may not have been the outcome we had hoped for, we trust the Lord’s leading and are genuinely excited for this next chapter.

Bishop Leah, welcome home! These are your people, and we are grateful to have you back among us. We look forward to serving alongside you, supporting one another, and seeing all that God will do through the churches of MidTexas.
