Fasting is a huge tool given to the Christian to get closer to God at an accelerated rate. If you're not fasting, you're in defiance to God. Jesus said "when ye fast", not "if ye fast". It's a biblical ordinance and commandment given to us for our benefit as all commandments are. Watch this video in sections if you have to because it's really deep and full of doctrine. I tried to include every mention of fasting I could find.

There's a lot of hush hush on this topic which means not much information about it yet it's one of the greatest tools that a Christian has at their disposal ...
