Anna’s nephew is a young man who has always worked hard to provide for himself. Recently, he has been facing serious medical issues that have made it difficult for him to manage everyday expenses. It’s not easy for him to ask for help, but he has reached out to us in this time of need. Through the Lord’s Closet Outreach Ministry, we have been able to assist with clothing and housewares, but now he needs support for urgent bills like his light, water, and medical expenses. Today was a solemn yet beautiful day of ministry. One of our beloved Lord's Closet sick and shut-in members went home to be with the Lord. It was a privilege and an honor for Pastor Albert and Sis Anna Wallace to serve the family by officiating the graveside committal service.
We were especially humbled to be part of his honorary Air Force ceremony, a fitting tribute to his faithful service to our country. As we gathered to commit his earthly body to its resting place, we were reminded of the hope we have in Christ, that death is not the end but the beginning of eternal life for those who trust in Him. Rest in peace, dear brother Lionel. Your life, your service, and your legacy will not be forgotten. We pray for God's comfort, strength, and peace to surround your family and loved ones in the days ahead.
