"Well, hey, this is Sharon from KCBI: Tomorrow is a big day for all of us. If you're like me, you may be feeling a little anxious because whatever happens, it's going to be a new chapter for our nation. So I wanted to touch base and share a scripture with you that I ran across Daniel 2:20 through 21. It says this blessed be the name of God for ever and ever to whom belong wisdom and might. He changes times and seasons. He removes kings and sets up kings. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding. I hope that gives you some relief and helps you as much as it helps me no matter what happens tomorrow or even in the days following. God is the author of her days. We can trust him alone. He is the one who sits on the throne. He is our hope.
Would you join me in praying for our leaders, whoever they are, that God will give them His wisdom and discernment no matter what their positions. In fact, I'm gonna pray right now. Our most gracious heavenly father, we come to you today with grateful hearts. We recognize that in this chaotic time, you are a steady foundation. You are our rock. Please remind us that you're in control no matter what the circumstances we pray for our nation's leaders asking that you grant them wisdom, that you give them discernment and a heart to do what is right. I pray that you'll draw them to yourself and that they'll seek your guidance in every decision they make. We trust that your plans are greater than ours. We place our future in your hands. Thank you for how you're already working in the powerful matchless name of Jesus. We pray amen.
Remember, no matter what God is with you, he's guiding your steps every day. Let's keep focused on Him. I'm praying that you have a blessed day.
