Hello All- these are unprecedented times but we must listen, look, and discern God in the midst of this challenge. BAM businesses all around the world are relying on God's will and vision to overcome and be a blessing to their customers, country, and world. Remember to support these businesses with social media posts to help or to inform others of the products and services they provide. Especially support the food retail industry where millions of people have already or will loose their jobs. Keep in mind that we all need a little joy in our lives- buy a donut or a coffee for yourself or your friends. Isaiah 41:10 in our scripture for these times.

Hey everyone. It has been a long time since I posted anything on this address- TFH and BAM. Well, the story is that I have retired from CBF and the role I had in TFH but have moved on in the BAM world by starting and operating Duck Donuts in San Antonio. Duck Donuts is one of the leading donut franchises in the US and we have been voted by SA Express readers choice as the best donut store in SA for 2018. So we are blessed and we are carrying out BAM with the serious intention of being an effective and humble steward of God's resources and plans through workplace ministry. BAM or Business as Mission is a strategy of missions where people of faith, no matter where they are, especially in the workplace, do what is right, live with integrity, treat people with respect, and listen to find out how they may be able to help someone in their work environment. We would like to say a big old Texas "THANK YOU" to all of our supporters who prayed and financially supported our recent "61 on 61 Golfathon Fundraiser" in Laredo, Texas. You may say, "what is the 61 on 61? It is our annual ministry fundraiser that is associated with Ben's birthday. He turned 61 on October 12 and played 61 holes of golf in one day for the purpose of fundraising to combat human trafficking along the border. We raised over $3000 that will be used in the McAllen valley, Laredo, and Eagle Pass border areas to help local organizations (both governmental and non-profit) bring more awareness to this issue of human exploitation. It is still time for another 4 days to donate if you so desire. In the meantime, keep praying for the thousands of people that are exposed to cruelty, abuse, and exploitation each year in Texas and Mexico. We need your help. I am about to start my journey, hopefully with all of you, to play 61 holes of golf in one day. I will tee off in 1:10 minutes more. We are playing at Max Mandel Golf Course in Laredo, Texas. They have been such a good host and we appreciate all they have done to help put this fundraiser on. I want to thank all of you who have supported this effort this year and also supported the Newells throughout the last 21 years with CBF. Be in prayer. I need it. Oh, by the way, Pastors Lorenzo and Israel are playing with me. Hurray.
