The Catholic Bible intentionally perverted the Ten Commandments so that they could justify worshipping Mary and bowing down to statues and images of her along with other saints.

God’s Word clearly forbids this in the 2nd Commandment but they went ahead and completely removed that verse out of their “bible”.

God doesn’t take it lightly when people pervert His Word and remove certain verses that contradict their false doctrine.

God warns that...
“...if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.”
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭22‬:‭19‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Once again the modern versions have perverted the scriptures...

“...for ye have perverted the words of the living God...”
‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭23‬:‭36‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The Lord Jesus Christ was the one who showed up in the fire with Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego.

He is not “a son”
He is “the Son”.

The “...only begotten Son”

Capital “S” = DIETY

The Son “of God”
Not a son “of the gods”

Little “g” gods are devils...

“They sacrificed unto devils, not to God; To gods whom they knew not, To new gods that came newly up, Whom your fathers feared not.”
‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭32‬:‭17‬ ‭KJV‬‬

There is only one capital “G” God.

“...for great is our God above all gods.”
‭‭2 Chronicles‬ ‭2‬:‭5‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Put those modern perversions in the trash can where they belong and get you a perfect, inspired, infallible authorized version of God’s precious Word.

One verse. Two very different messages.

The King James Bible says Christ’s goings forth are “from everlasting.”
That means no beginning. No origin. Christ is eternal.

“But thou, Beth-lehem Ephratah… out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.”
— Micah 5:2 (KJV)

Many modern versions change it to say His “origins are from ancient times.”

That suggests a starting point.

But Jesus Christ was not created.
He did not originate at Bethlehem.

He is the eternal Son of God — from everlasting.

Doctrine matters. Words matter.

Look closely at 1 John 5:7.

The King James Bible says:

“For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.”

This verse clearly teaches the Trinity — the Father, the Word (Jesus Christ), and the Holy Ghost are one.

But in many modern Bible versions, this powerful verse is removed or drastically changed, taking away one of the clearest statements of the Trinity found anywhere in Scripture.

That is not a minor wording difference.
That is the removal of a direct testimony about who God is.

The Trinity is a foundational doctrine of the Christian faith, and passages like 1 John 5:7 boldly declare that truth.

One of the most serious changes found in many modern Bible versions occurs in 1 Timothy 3:16. The King James Bible plainly says: “God was manifest in the flesh.” This verse is a direct declaration that Jesus Christ is God come in the flesh. However, many modern translations change this to “He was manifest in the flesh.” That subtle change removes the explicit identification of God Himself being manifested in the flesh and replaces it with a vague pronoun. While the surrounding context still refers to Christ, the modern wording weakens one of the clearest statements in Scripture about the deity of Christ.

This is why these changes matter. The doctrine that God was manifested in the flesh is central to the gospel (John 1:14, Philippians 2:6–8). When modern translations replace “God” with “He,” they remove a powerful testimony of Christ’s divine nature that believers have relied on for centuries. The King James Bible preserves the clear declaration: God Himself came to earth in the person of Jesus Christ. That truth is not something that should ever be softened, blurred, or replaced with ambiguity.

A Subtle Change with Big Consequences

Psalm 12:6–7 in the King James Bible says:

“The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.
Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.”
— Psalm 12:6–7 (KJV)

Notice the flow of the passage:

1️⃣ Verse 6 speaks about the words of the LORD.
2️⃣ Verse 7 says God will keep them and preserve them forever.

The subject never changes. The passage teaches that God preserves His words.

But many modern translations subtly change verse 7 so the promise refers to preserving people (“us” or “the needy”) instead of preserving God’s words.

That small wording change removes one of the clearest statements about the preservation of Scripture.

The KJV keeps the simple and consistent reading:

God’s words are pure → God preserves them forever.

And that truth fits perfectly with the rest of Scripture:

“Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.” — Matthew 24:35

If God promised to preserve His words, then believers should expect to have those words today.

Since the modern perversions of the Bible don’t believe in preservation...it’s no wonder they had to manipulate this verse to fit their narrative.

John 3:36 shows an important difference between the King James Bible and many modern translations.

The KJV says, “he that believeth not the Son shall not see life,” which clearly teaches that eternal life is received by faith in Jesus Christ.

Salvation is about trusting in Christ and His finished work on the cross as the payment for our sins.

Many modern translations CHANGE the phrase to “whoever does not obey the Son will not see life.”

That wording gives the impression that salvation depends on keeping Jesus’ commandments or living a life of obedience in order to be saved.

The KJV keeps the focus where the gospel places it: believing on Christ for salvation, not trusting in our works but in His sacrifice and shed blood.
