Mike recently visited Estonia, meeting with the board of Sunbeam and with our partners Dima and Elissa Bahtin. Sunbeam is a center for children with disabilities in Northeast Estonia that started as the dream of Pastor Artur Pold and has grown into a vibrant center of service that is a light to the community. Hello, dear friends, it’s Stacy! I would like to give you our latest news. In February and March we had an opportunity to rejoice with orphans graduates who had birthdays. It was a little adventure and we went to Karelia for 3 days. It took us 4 hours to travel up north there. It was awesome, because we had an opportunity to be in the actual woods with beautiful nature and wonderful cliffs. [ 399 more words ]

The young mothers who graduated from our Family Homes keep close contact needing help in raising up their little ones. Hello dear friends! We want to share what we have been doing in the last month. We continue the work of youth and children's clubs. On average, 25 people come to youth clubs, an average of 30 people come to children's clubs. The kids clubs are actively being served by the guys from the youth club "Young Life". Children's clubs are held once a week, every time we make lunches for children who come to us. [ 106 more words ]

Hi Stoneworks friends and family, We are home to Estonia after enjoying the holiday season in America. ~ Camp Gideon’s season came to a close at the end of August. Elissa agreed to teaching again in September, so the search for a substitute teacher for the holidays began. She found a wonderful replacement so that we could take 2 months to be in America over Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s. [ 455 more words ]

Hello to you all! I wanted to update you on another "shoeboxes activity" that we'd done. The only difference now is that it is part of the larger project - church planting activities in Berane, a town in the northeast of Montenegro. Some of you may remember me mentioning Berane for some time now. Christmas Program We are so excited that we had again had the privilege to host a Christmas program (Eastern Orthodox Christmas is on January 7th) with Samaritan’s Purse shoe boxes. We had one program in Cetinje (town 35 km away from Podgorica) for the first time. We were expecting around 600 kids but because of bad words spread about us, we had around 150 kids plus their parents. [ 509 more words ]
