As we prepare our hearts for worship tomorrow, we're reflecting on the foundational virtues that are critical in pursuing our calling and strengthening our walk with God.

This past Sunday, our own Brother Tory Smith reminded us that spiritual growth happens as we intentionally pursue the qualities God calls us to develop: Faith, Virtue, Knowledge, Self-Control, Perseverance, Godliness and Kindness.

These are marks of a life being transformed by God. As we gather again tomorrow, let's come expecting God to continue His work in us.

A Prayer for This Evening (from yesterday's message) 🙏 - God, today we lay down every yoke that was never meant for us to carry.

We surrender the pressure to perform, the need to please people, the weight of sin, unhealthy relationships, unrealistic expectations and the burdens that have stolen our joy and peace.
Your Word tells us to cast our burdens on You because You care for us. Thank You for inviting us to take Your yoke instead, a yoke that is easy, well-fitting and designed specifically for the life You've called us to live.

Thank You that we never carry Your yoke alone. You are always with us, sharing every burden and directing every step!

In Jesus' Name, Amen.

A Prayer for This Evening (from yesterday’s service) 🙏 - God, help us to live with purpose and intention.
Teach us to value every minute You give us and to be fully present in every moment.

Show us how to maximize what is in our hands today, and how to learn from our missed moments without being slowed by them. Give us discipline to stay focused, strength to keep pressing and resolve to never quit striving after what pleases You. Let our lives reflect wisdom, faithfulness and perseverance.

We must live INTENTIONAL!

A Prayer for Today (from this morning’s service) 🙏 - God, thank You for giving us the 'want to' even on the days when we don’t 'want to.' Thank You for meeting us in our weakness and still calling us forward. As we step into 2026 - only four days in - we choose to CONTINUE.

Continue trusting. Continue growing. Continue moving forward, even when it’s uncomfortable or unclear. Strengthen our resolve, align our hearts with Your will, and remind us that progress often comes through perseverance.

We will CONTINUE!
