See this powerful piece on the grounds of Good News Lutheran Church in San Antonio, part of an outdoor display of art designed by veterans suffering from PTSD.

A permanent outdoor display of artwork by veterans with PTSD will be dedicated on Sunday, Sept. 9, at Good News Lutheran Church at 11020 Old Corpus Christi Road in San Antonio.

Veterans who participated in the “Open the Door” program will share their stories at the 9:30 a.m. service, explaining how the workshops at the Southwest School of Art in San Antonio served as a step to their healing.

A dedication ceremony will immediately follow the worship service.
