REGISTRATION DEADLINE IS SUNDAY, DECEMBER 13

Dear Parents (PK through 5th gr.),

St. Luke CYO Board is excited to announce that we are accepting registrations for the Winter Season Sport of Basketball. After much deliberation and coordination with area CYO organizations, we have concluded to welcome sports back to our program. Much planning to ensure the safety of all athletes, coaches, and spectators has occurred. We feel confident in the strategies that will supplement the CDC guidelines, mandates set by our local government, and the precautions set by St Luke Catholic School Covid-19 safety protocols.

Registration is currently open through December 13, 2020. Practices may officially start after December 14th.

Please review the following set guidelines before registering your child.
All practices will be held at St. Luke Catholic School gym.
Teams will not be allowed to practice at offsite gyms this season.
Teams are allowed to have only one 40 minute team practice per week.
Coaches and Athletes will be the only ones permitted in the gym during practice.
Safety protocols require us to limit the number of people in the gym to allow social distancing and efficiently be able to sanitize all surfaces between practices. Parents will be asked to remain in their vehicles for the duration of the practice.

Greetings St. Luke CYO Parents:

We hope this message finds you and your family well during this challenging time of navigating the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic. As part of our continued efforts to monitor and respond to developments of COVID-19, we have made a very difficult decision to cancel all CYO Fall Sports. Several other North Zone parish communities have also canceled for the Fall Season.

Our focus is on the health and safety of our children and compliance with state and local guidelines. The St Luke CYO board is closely monitoring the situation and hope to resume our sports ministry program later this year with a tentative December start date for Winter Basketball.

We will continue to pray for everyone’s safety and health. Feel free to reach out to us with any questions.
